▶  The director and other researchers visited the booth of KIRO partner companies and visited the 2021 MAEDX (International Maritime Defense Industry Exhibition) 2021 held at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1 from June 9th to 12th (Saturday) to identify new technology trends. 

▶ Hanwha System and LIG Nex1 showed the physical model of CIWS-2 and explained the core technology!

▶ CIWS is a weapon system that defends enemy threats at the final stage, including missiles flying at high speeds through the ship's multilayer shield and small watercraft.

 
▶ We visited other corporate booths such as Daeyang Electrical Industry, Sonatech, and FiberPro to hear about the development technology.

▶ In addition to the above introduction, MAEDX (International Maritime Defense Industry Exhibition) 2021 had a wide variety of exhibits and participants, including ships/submersibles/marine defense system equipment/sea rescue equipment.
